Nicely done, River! I think the sepia tone lends itself well to the emotional context.
I think it might work better if the camera was zoomed in, just showing your face.
But, of course, you'd have to memorize it, so we wouldn't see you reading the words! ;)
(Also, it would be nice to lose that distracting time counter)
You read so well, Ms. Poet!!!! Beautifully done.
Very nice.
Noted. :) lol
The next video I will definitely get rid of the timer and try it zoomed in. Did you notice I used try.. :)lol! Those gadgets make me a little uncomfortable but the impersonal world of the computer irk me more.
Sherry :) (a big one from ear to ear) Thank you!
Thank you Michael. :)
Agree with Sherry. Beautifully done.
Thank you Dustus.
My confidence is slowly growing with reading my work. If anyone has suggestions feel free to pass them my way. :)
nice to hear you read your work River
I remember this one from the Board - it's really shaped up to be a good piece, especially recited ... and especially recited well, which you do. You read your poetry nicely - your cadence, diction, lilting tone, pause for effect, confidence with and endearing slight shyness of the camera; I think it all equates a fine little video performance, River. Well done, my friend.
