This is the fourth poem Charlie/slpmartin and I have wrote together.
Duel Poetry: a prearranged poetry writing challenge between two people to evolve a new poem where each writer must respond to the other writer’s lines (4 -5 ) until both parties agree that the poem is complete.

Hi River. This is great. I'm trying hard to visualise how this writing process works, but not succeeding very well. Do you each write 4/5 lines and then pass the poem, completed up to that point, to the other person who then adds another 4/5 lines and returns it?? I particularly like the ending of the poem. Tried to copy and paste it here but couldn't so you'll have to read the last 4/5 lines...Marion
very well said and beautifully written!
thank you
Thank you Hope. I can always count on you and few more leaving comments that help guide me forth in my writing.
creative.
it is refreshing to know duel poetry.
keep it up.
"A chalice filled with the faith of others." Wow. This poem says a LOT, in fantastically satisfying lines........I have tried writing prose with others, one chapter following the other's, but have never tried it with poetry - takes a lot of skill. You two accomplish this form very well. Thanks for introducing it. Well done!
