a chalice of faith~ duel poetry

This is the fourth poem Charlie/slpmartin and I have wrote together.  :)
Duel Poetry a prearranged poetry writing challenge  between two people to evolve a new poem where each writer must respond to the other writer’s lines  (4 -5 ) until both parties agree that the poem is complete.

Charlie has an audio reading and
below i have a video reading.

Hi River. This is great. I'm trying hard to visualise how this writing process works, but not succeeding very well. Do you each write 4/5 lines and then pass the poem, completed up to that point, to the other person who then adds another 4/5 lines and returns it?? I particularly like the ending of the poem. Tried to copy and paste it here but couldn't so you'll have to read the last 4/5 lines...Marion

"A chalice filled with the faith of others." Wow. This poem says a LOT, in fantastically satisfying lines........I have tried writing prose with others, one chapter following the other's, but have never tried it with poetry - takes a lot of skill. You two accomplish this form very well. Thanks for introducing it. Well done!
